The Grand Opening of the Nobu Hotel and Restaurant

Well, one need wait no longer, as the ribbon-cutting ceremony was held over the weekend and Monday, February 4th was its first official day of business. Matsuhisa, naturally, was present, as was actor Robert De Niro, a group of Taiko drummers and last but not least, a model wearing a dress made out of origami cranes.

Matsuhisa made a point that he was using an authentic Japanese sword for the ribbon-cutting, not some cheap prop.
